National Scholarships

National scholarships are announced in the Daily Bulletin and posted on the school website on a weekly basis.  There are also many scholarship search engines available online and most colleges and universities have separate scholarship applications.  Beware of scholarship scams!  See your counselor if you have any questions about a questionable scholarship opportunity.

Local Scholarships

Thousands of dollars from local clubs, community organizations, and private donors are given each year to THS seniors.  Interested students need to complete an online scholarship application in January (information is mailed home).  Scholarship recipients and their parents/guests are honored at Senior Awards Night in May in the Bulldog Arena.  Many eligible students neglect to apply every year!  Are you interested in being a scholarship sponsor?  Contact Kristin Bettencourt at (209) 667-0888 for more information.

Applications are available from Kristin in the Bookroom for the 2018 Stanislaus County California Women for Agriculture Scholarship.


Each year, several students in our area are recognized monetarily by CWA for their achievements in school and agricultural related activities and academics.


Deadline: March 15, 2018


Below, is a list of 10 Scholarship Programs that will give out more than one million dollars to students in the 2017-18 school year. Students from California school districts are eligible for all awards below. For more information and to apply, please click on the posted link.


The Farmland Working Group is a local non-profit educational organization. Their mission is to preserve the agricultural foundation of our region and promote smart growth in urban settings through education, outreach, and action. This year the Farmland Working Group will give a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior who provides a well-defined answer (no handwritten submissions allowed).
